There are small yellow things in the bottom left of a creations thumbnail picture. I can't tell what they are supposed to be, paper maybe. They allow you to drag them to your desktop, and probably to the creators.

You are able to rearrange the windows on your personal profile except the main one with your tagline and the avatar on it.

Not sure if I have noticed anything else that is there doing, I have been using the firefox plugin sporescope which shows some extra information about creatures and adds a few other neat things, it can be found here http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/31126 some of the information isn't the most accurate, but I guess the stuff that is off can't be helped, but it does let you know the general size of creatures and a little more detailed idea of the exact rating, plus a few other things.

Seem to be little slips of paper, yes. Didn't know about being able to drag them though, that's handy!

I've been using Sporescope as well. Interesting to see the actual score some creatures have, rather than just the smile-ratings. Pretty nifty.

That's the GreaseMonkey script version, there's also the standalone firefox addon version here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/...

I still have a few bits to fix after the Sporepedia update though.

I forgot about the GreaseMonky part, are they both the same though? I've been checking in for the updates from the changes, keep up the good work.

I've engineered it so that the standalone version just runs the GreaseMonkey script version. So I can update both at the same time and they are the same - except that the standalone version allows you to configure it.

Ok, looking through the new Sporepedia, I noticed you have the 'Epic Killer' achievement. I've heard those things kill in one hit, so how'd you manage it? :)

I'm not sure they would have killed my creatures in one hit at that stage of the game since it was during the final stretch to Tribal, so they were at their strongest.
The Epic creature (a Kelvine, one of my creations!) came right up to the nest and started attacking. It killed one of my creatures on the outskirts and kept attacking... I'm not entirely sure what happened as I was busy mashing attack buttons, but I guess it was caught up on the lip of the nest and thus couldn't attack properly? Because a couple of minutes later I'd whittled it down and killed it! :D

I honestly have no idea how you'd do it otherwise. Even if you sprung an ambush on them while they were attacking other creatures, I'm not sure you'd all last long enough to kill it. Maybe if you kept spawning more babies and just zerged it I guess. But they're barely killable in Tribe as it is. They're very, very Epic. ;)

Sounds like a fun battle anyway. :) Congrats!

It was and thanks... but I doubt I'll be trying that EVER AGAIN! ;)

I managed to beat one by constantly circling it and spitting at it, with a lot of breaks to eat fruit. Although eventually I managed to get it stuck on some rocks and trees it couldn't work out how to path around.

    Only worth doing once.

I have killed three epics, The first was in creature stage one of my first few runs through. I had befriended one of the rogue creatues (250hp ones) and encountered them at my nest and had a full posse. There were at least 8 creatures beating on it and it never had the chance to attack, though it was still a long fight I think we were just hitting it so much that it was being stunned or something. The second time I did it in tribal, and with heavy losses as it still kills in one hit we were able tobring it down, though I lost 2/3 of my tribe. The final time I just died repeatedly at my nest because it was there and eventually it ran out of health, not fun at all. In the end the costs outweight the benefits, as even with 3 of the 250hp posse members they will get killed fairly fast in an open battle and there isn't much reward for killing them other than the one time achievement.

Yeah, don't think I'll be trying for that achievement.

As for killing it in tribal, if you're playing carnivores/omnivores, bringing down the epic has one advantage: a huge, huge, huge pile of food.
