Don't know if all EBs are releasing it early but I believe a good many of them are. Try ringing your local and asking, can't hurt?

Rock Band 1 is supposedly coming October 1st... but then, we've had release dates before, so we'll see.

Anyone know if EBGames somewhere has SPORE yet? Won't get to try until Wednesday arvo at earliest, otherwise picking mine up sometime Thursday lunchtime.

This sure makes a change (getting the game early). We might get Rock Band 2 before RB1 at this rate...

Apparently EA Australia has been telling retailers they can sell it as soon as copies come in. I don't know if that's only the "larger" resellers or not, but I think they'd've found it hard to justify not letting you sell it early when everyone else is. You should have ordered them in sooner! :)

Considering that one of the major software distributors in Aus has a red label on the ordering website
"Strict Street Date"
Being a small reseller business I find it rather disturbing that other businesses cant honour these things.

For the record I will be ordering my copies on the 3rd so I wont receive them till the following day being the 4th at best.

Considering one of the main software distributors in Aus has a red label plastered all over their site strict release date.

I find this rather disappointing being a smaller reseller that businesses cant honour these things.

Yes, I wasn't sure whether to believe it when I first saw that we'd be getting it on the 4th. It's so very rare for us to get anything before anyone that it seemed like it must have been more bungling by EA Australia.
But no, we get it first! :)
